Access expert hardware & engineering design services
Our engineers help you design custom smart products with the end user in mind, thanks to our full range of in-house technical skills.
Bringing agility to engineering
Our teams combine the agile methodology of project management with the classic waterfall method to enhance our product design process. Together we optimize the coordination between mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and software development to create innovative IoT products.
Product-market fit assessment
To be confident that your product idea is optimized for the market, our innovation lab works closely with the product development team to assess the product-market fit of your innovation. The assessment not only analyzes whether the product fits the needs of your target users but also defines potential product evolutions with UX designers to iterate on different pathway options.
A flexible design process
Our design process to develop IoT and connected objects combines several different services such as mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, firmware development, and application software development.
Architecture Drafting
During this first phase of the design process, we validate the budget and draft the device architecture. This requires our design teams to take customer input and environmental input to draft the product specifications. With our expert knowledge of the latest protocols and technologies for building reliable infrastructures for IoT devices, we help our customers design their own solutions with a scalable approach.
Industrial design & prototypes
Once our teams have finalized the architecture, we advance to the industrial design where we make prototypes, run tests, and obtain pre-certifications to be sure that we won’t face any EMC non-compliance issues during the next phases. During this phase, we design the infrastructure, conceptualize the full extent of the project, choose the right technologies, and make sure that everything will be flexible enough to adapt to changes.
Industrial toolings
Then after we validate the prototypes, we move on to the industrialization phase during which we make toolings, like industrial toolings for electronics and mechanical parts. This phase aims to confirm the industrial aspects of the project and the design for mass production.
Manufacturing
Following the industrial design validation and product certification, we proceed with mass production of your product in our manufacturing plant in the Philippines, where we can support small to medium-scale manufacturing projects (about 10K to 100K units).
