*** NEW PRODUCT*** Baracoda DualRunners (RFID 13.56 MHz + Barcode scanner)
Thanks to the success of the barcode scanners family RoadRunners (available today in 1D, 2D and Laser versions, or RFID), Baracoda completes its product range with a product including the 2 technologies (RFID & Barcode), based on the RoadRunners' key-assets: form factor, ease of use, robustness, efficiency, battery autonomy

Applications: Field services ? Parcel Delivery ? Asset Tracking ? Merchandising for the DualRunners 1D & 2D, Data Capture in Warehouse ? Inventory Management ? Work-in-Progress for the DualRunners Laser

  • Device: RFID Reader/Encoder HF 13,56 Mhz (Read Tag ID, and Read/Write Tag Memory) & Barcode reader (3 versions: ?L (CMOS 1D ? EV10) / -Fs (2D Imager ? IT5180SF) / -LA (Laser ? SE950) )

  • Reading distance: Contact for the RFID / -L (10 to 50cm) / -Fs (5 to 22cm) / Laser (5 to 85cm)

  • Reading modes:
=> Trigger: Simply press the trigger when you want to read a RFID Tag ID or barcode.

=> Aiming (only on the 1D and Laser versions): This mode enables the device to read continuously. In Autoscan mode, the RFID antenna and the beam are continuously on.

=> Smart Autoscan: Enables battery power consumption optimization. Thanks to this mode, the RFID antenna and the beam are not always activated, and the DualRunners reads intermittently.

=> ?No Duplicate Scan? option is available for each of these reading modes. Thanks to this option, you cannot read the same Tag ID or barcode consecutively. .
  • Read/Write Tag Memory: Every RFID tag has a unique identifier (Tag ID), and some of them also have a non-volatile memory (TAG Memory) in which it is possible to read and write data (with or without security). Unlike reading a tag ID, the read/write Tag memory operation is only possible in real time. As a consequence, the Host has to be connected to the DualRunners.

  • Specific plugin: Baracoda developed a specific DualRunners's plugin (RFID_plugin) available in the BaracodaManager software v3.36.2 PC version. It is an easy way to read/write the RFID Tag Memory.
